Photographer’s Note
Once a year, Antwerp is the venue for hundreds of enthousiasts of the Middle Ages and the life of knights. A whole town is formed by tents from all over Europe. Blacksmiths, butchers, carpenters, you name it all professions bring their crafts as they would have done in the 1100'ds. During the week-end, battles are staged with canons, catapults of all sizes and of course several hundred knights in shining armour. A fun and educational time travel.
