Sunday very nice weather for a lovely bike trip to this white village (Total 40 km)

Oostkerke a village on 5 KM of the Belgian coasts (The North Sea)

Oostkerke is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful villages in West Flanders, even from all of Flanders. In 1974 it was effectively voted the most beautiful village in West Flanders and in 2008 it was selected among the 50 most beautiful in Flanders. The best proof is to come and see the village itself; we invite the disbelievers; many words will not be needed.
The village center is small and the whitewashed old facades make it very cozy. A stone's throw from the church is the castle of Oostkerke and just outside the village there are two windmills. The meandering Krinkeldijk (direction Hoeke) is one of the most beautiful roads in the region that a true cycling enthusiast cannot ignore. The Damse Vaart, the Leopold and Schipdonk Canal are also close to the village. From the bike path that is right next to the canals, you can fully enjoy this water splendor that cuts through the fertile polder land.

I hope that you enjoy it
