I makes pictures with one hand but support on my arm, not easy but everything working perfect
Yet one or two weeks. I've patience than would I back take picture with two hands

The street was first mentioned in
“1297: pro calceia reficienda in vico Sancti Amandi.”

The chapel was sold in 1797 and demolished in 1817. The vacated space was incorporated into the public road. A monumental water pump was erected on the site. In the Bruges language, people used to talk about the “Bezemmarkt.”

The Saint Amands Chapel in this street was built according to tradition by Saint Amandus in the 8th century. The chapel was depicted on the map of Bruges by Marcus Gerards (1562). She was the chapel of the craft of the spice hall, the traders of herbs and groceries.

This is very sharp for a one hand photo. There are some very interesting contrasts of colours in this photo, and also very nicely matching colours of walls and clothes. Besides, it is a very pretty square with a cosy atmosphere.It's another fine and well composed photo.

Hello John, one of those pictures where one can easily imagine being there looking across the street!
Trees in their autumn colours. Each building has its own distinctive style in a multitude of colours.
There is even pattern in the paving.

Autumn is back in this delightful town! I just love the architecture and its variety of colours - could wander around here for hours, plenty going on there and I like the eclectic mix of people in this image each individual yet all together. Certainly a lot of interesting folks for us to ponder on and always so interesting. You've captured this - with one hand - well to peak our interest. Good street photography

Hallo John,
Een mooie foto, die goed in balans is, van dit pleintje. Het was een mooi herfstdag, waarbij zelfs nog wat mensen op het terras konden zitten. De herfstkleuren in de bomen en de verschillende kleuren van de gevels zijn heel aantrekkelijk.

Hi John,
beautiful square, it is so full of color!
Even though there is so much shade the color saturation is amazing.
Trees are decorated with autumnal tones and people wear already thicker jackets.
Lovely street scene with people enjoying outdoor. Plenty of tourists as well.
I suppose everybody thinks that you are a tourist as well because you walk around with the camera and take a lot of photos :)

Hello John,

You are remarkable!
Handicapped (forgive the pun) yet able to take beautiful photographs, as normal!
There is a lot to enjoy here, from the well contained square, to the many figures.
The surrounding buildings add the setting for the activities of the many people.
How good (and beneficial for your photograph) that there are people dining alfresco, even in November!
The scattering of leaves inform us of the season, whilst the two ladies in bright orange coats add to the seasonal message.

Lovely clarity and saturation on your shot.

Hello John,

An attractive and reasonably quiet courtyard for al fresco dining, if only for a quick cup of coffee and a 10 minute break. Good sharpness and the Autumn tones of the tree add a lively splash of warm colour. Tfs!

Dag John,
Gelukkig zijn de moderne fotocamera’s stabiel en redelijk goed met één hand te bedienen, maar het blijft wel behelpen. Gelukkig lijkt je herstel zover gevorderd dat je binnenkort dergelijke aantrekkelijke foto’s weer met twee handen kan maken. Hopelijk werkt het weer dan beter mee als vandaag want het regent hier weer katten en honden zoals de Engelsen zeggen.

Hallo John, beautiful square including a post in its middle. The yellowish tree leaves and the ones on the ground are typical of autumn season. The terrace of the cafe is adorned with red flowers on the tables. Fine colors, good image quality, instructive photo note, regards.
