Bruges in "West-Vlaanderen" "Flanders L'Ouest" A place for photographers, Bruges have different wonderful places, my home town on 15 km I come every week on this place.

Hello Jean Jacques,

A stunning photo of one of the most beautiful medieval cities in the world! The colors are fantastic..it's a well captured night scene. I love this beautiful city, it's my favorite city in Belgium where I was born.

And indeed JHM is right, this city is located in the province of West-Vlaanderen and not in Brussels.

Je n'ai encore pas eu la chance d'aller visiter Bruges et ses canaux mais à chaque fois que je découvre une photo de ce lieu, cela me fais envie.
Un excellent POV pour nous montrer ces maisons et la tour baignés dans une lumière douce. J'aime beaucoup le ciel bleu et le reflets.

You have some impressive photographs in your gallery, Jean, but this latest one is the best. Superb lighting and excellent detail, DOF and sharpness. The rich tones of brown make a lovely contrast against the deep blue sky, and the reflections in the water are an added bonus. Good one! Cheers . . . David

Magnifique photo et magnifique instant avec cet éclairage qui donne cette belle couleur rosée aux maisons et au beffroi. A cette heure ci les bateaux ne circulent plus et l'eau est bien lisse, ce qui donne des reflets superbes de netteté. J'étais à Bruges au mois de novembre dernier et j'ai également pris une photo de cet endroit, mais de jour. J'avais malheureusement oublié de noter le nom de la rue, alors merci de me l'avoir rappelé.

Salut JJ. A beautiful photo from Brugge with a competent framing that culminates with the beautiful tower at the right. The reflections are well included and the time of day to shoot this was well chosen, benefitting from the remaining daylight and blue hues in the sky. Good work with the exposure, too.

Bonsoir, Jean Jacques. Un endroit très souvent photographié, mais qui impressionne toujours. J'aime beaucoup la lumière très douce de ce début de soirée qui permet aux couleurs de ne pas encore être trop déformées par l'éclairage artificiel. Les reflets dans l'eau sont très beaux. Le beffroi domine la scène en seigneur des lieux et se détache bien sur le ciel encore bleu.
