Hey Bert,

interesting work. Dynamic and static at the same time. You created a nice blur here with a slightly longer exposure time, yet the faces are still viisble, distorted as they may be.

Een bijzondere foto. En wat goed dat je zoiets ziet, want ik zou dit nooit en te nimmer zien, laat staan vastleggen. Mooi hoe je die beweging tegen die oude gevel hebt weten vast te leggen.

Hallo Bert,

Ik heb u leren kennen als een controverse fotograaf, en hier bewijs u dat dit klopt, u gaat de moeilijksgraad niet uit de weg, want dit is geen gemakkelijke foto Bert, daar ben ik van overtuigd, maar ook niet de uitdaging om dit te durven, en ook nog een perfecte foto van de maken, met realistische kleuren en ook nog de gevel van het oude postgebouw te laten zien, vandaar een goede samenstelling. Goed gedaan.

Prettig weekend, droog voor zondag maar zeker koeler, nu hier steedsteeds regen en 8.6° C.

Hi Bert,
The photo is indeed representative of contrast in various forms. Your careful framing and tight cropping help deliver high impact. The low angle view is also enhancing. There is also the human element of the solid, unchanging structure and facade of the building contrasting with the fluid mixing of different peoples and cultures. A clear crisp and original shot. Well captured.

I love this photo, I love this mouvement of the postcard and the blur effect that creates, specially witht the contrast of the academic building that works as a backgroud. People makes the world colorful and I love that from your photo, or almost this is my interpretation. Take care Bert, it´s cold and rainy down here.

An intriguing photo, Bert, and a good observation to show the contrast between the classic old-town architecture and the modern artistic installation. Nice choice of a slow-ish speed to illustrate the movement, yet at the same time retain a good sense of detail in the portraits of which the installation is comprised. It's a urban shot, elements mixed, differences joined, a mixture of lifes, styles, storys. Your shot show this urban character very well! I like too the contrast between the movement in the installation and the quiet ancient buildings, the needed balance between the classic and modern for to live. Very interesting, and very nice. Everything's OK here : the perfectly sharp background, the exposure time (creating moves but enough sharpness to guess the faces), the frame and the purpose. A strong contrast between tradition and globalization. A clever compo. Excellent !

Hi Bert
Striking contrast between modernity and neo classical architecture. The blur from the rotation is at the right pitch and conveys the sense of movement well. The contrast with the static building behind is a nice one and gives the extra impact the picture delivers. Good exposure and technicals here and a nice pov.
