A little experiment with lighting.
This photograph was taken in the side isle of the gigantic collegiate church of St Waudru. Although located in the middle of the former county of Hainaut, the style in which it is built is one of the finest examples of Brabantine gothic. Eventhough its construction time was incredibly long (from 1450 untill 1686 CE, and it was in fact never finished), the style of the building is quite uniform. It is by many considered the most beautiful medieval buildings in Belgium. |
