Photographer’s Note
We are leaving Herzegovina and going back home in Pennsylvania. On our way to the airport Sarajevo, just 10-12 km north of Mostar we stopped at this small traditional Orthodox Church. This church was also destroyed during the recent war,but was nicely restored. Just a fraction of prewar Serbian Orthodox population had returned to this area, mostly older people.
One of my WS photos shows a large cemetery, located next to the church and it is very well maintained.

Hallo Brano!
You show us a beautiful small church, a somehow touching building. I like this simple architecture and these somehow "human" dimensions here. What a shame that even churches have been damaged in this unspeakable war. In combinationwith your note and the ws photos a contribution in terms of TE.
Greetings from Germany!

Hi Brano,
beautiful photo of this church, nice homy place that creates peaceful feelings.
Sad thing that wars nowadays does not have mercy on even churches, but by restoring it people showed that they and their faith and believes are much stronger than anything else.
TFS,
Cheers,
Mike
