Hi George!
I`m not sure about taking a photo of people in such poor conditions and publishing in the www.
Anyway,I like it.You did a good documantary shot,taken from a good POV.
With his beard and red coat ,he looks a bit like Santa Claus in the 21st century,where is not enough space for good guys....

Συγκλονιστική φωτογραφία αναδεικνύει πλήρως αυτά που αναφέρεις στο σημείωμα.Δυστυχώς αυτά είναι παρενέργειες του καπιταλισμού!Σπούδαζα στη Ρουμανία και τέτοιες εικόνες ήταν και εκεί καθημερινές,παρόλα αυτά δεν συνηθίζεται.

this is what I call a "sad but true" picture showing those things we normally try to skip and avoid seeing.
such a scene is everywhere to see...it is universal and sad....either in western europe or in a former communist country

Hi George, A sad part of life but something we see all to often, The surrounding are perfect for this picture, the stone steps & the rusty iron guarders as a background, his attire & unkempt appearance you have captured brilliantly, also I love the lack of colour, kind regards Wilson.

breaks my heart to see people living in the street like this unfoortunate soul. an infestation of sort not only in the third world but wealthy ones as well. this earth is becomimg a mad world. i am glad his red thick clothing will kepp him warm.

Your photo is a testimony very strong , it is a scene which we see every day also in Paris. Many of the old persons live in the street. Many come from the Eastern Europe but there is also a lot of French people.
These scenes have to continue to revolt us, but now, people walk past and do not even pay attention. I find it terrible.
This sir, with his big beard reminds me a kind grandfather. Which horror to finish its life like that.
