[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
Lakatnik rocks are above Lakatnik train station and are a breathtaking phenomenon.

They are right next to Lakatnik village, near the city of Svoge, north of Sofia, so it is a great location if you want to feel on the top of everything that surrounds you. The place is not very far away from our capital but at the same time it is far enough to feel that you are tripping.

I hope you like my photo and enjoy of this view

Hi Philip
what a spectacular view! i know the region has impressive landscapes. very well captured. framing, light and colors are excellent. great composition!

if u don't mind me asking, how did u apply HDR?

best regards,

Mike

Hi Philip,
this is a great use of the HDR because the picture you are presenting here looks well balanced but, most of all, looks "natural". Great details in the fg where the rock adds a great depth and leads the eye through the compo. The view is beautiful, rich in details and I like a lot the mood you created. Nice job indeed, thanks for sharing it.
Regards,

Igor

Bonjour Philip,
un POV vertigineux qui coupe le souffle et des lumières qui nous changent un peu des vues plus classiques.
Les lumières pour y revenir, sont très bien capturées.
Des teintes qui auraient pu être un peu plus chaudes compte tenu du moment de la photo.
Best regards.
Daniel.

Hi Philip

Finally a photo which reconciles me with the HDR!
Thanks for having made me change point of view vis-a-vis this technique when it is well proportioned!
Concerning the photograph, nothing to repeat., perhaps just the high lights which could have been accentuated? But there, each one its opinion…

Hello Philipp,

A nice sunset but especially a very nice landscape. The propsect is here fantastic with the rocks in the FG and the mountains and the valley in the rest of the image. A photo rich in details and contrast very well collected.
Have a good day,
Roger

I love mountain shots. Few years agi I visited Bugarie, unhappily that was during that trip my Pentax (first camera ever) went dead...So I have no photos of Bulgarie . It's a pity cause the mountains, the landscapes here are just astonishing. Good stuff.

Hello Philip,
A very moody and atmospheric image of this rocky landscape. The backlit clouds are beautifully rendered and makes for an interesting set of silhouettes in the far distance. I like the sombre tones, which, nevertheless, reveal a great amount of detail. Very good photo work.

Hi Philip,
I'm glad to finally see somebody who makes discrete and GOOD use of HDR. The picture is well balanced in all its components, the view moody and absolutely stunning. My compliments.
And thanks for passing by my Castle Valley shot, I appreciate.
Have a good day, see ya soon.
Ciao,
Fulvio.

Hi Philip,
That's a stunning view from up there, especially with the wide-angle lens. Your HDR work is impressive and very natural, this looks like a very tricky lighting situation. I particularly like the almost metallic hues of the rocks and the hint of autumn colours on the trees.

hi Philip, very nice rocks in the nature and nice sunset !

bravo
buona giornata
maurizio

Zdr Philip,

Mnogo yaka!!!!

Hello Philip,
I would not have known that you have used HDR, if I had not seen it in the Camera info! A great capture with with a good composition, lots of details and a nice mood. Good natural colours and excellent depth. TFS.
Greetings,
Lasse

Hi Philip,

I have just returned from your pleasant country (I will be uploading a few images shortly).

Unfortunately I could not get out to such wonderful places that you have photographed due to time, so I am glad your pictures can bring them home to me! I like the sense of depth the slight haze gives in your photo.
