Photographer’s Note
If you travel to Cross Forest, you will definitely spot this chapel. It is located on a hill near the village of Borovo, central Rhodopes. If you look at it from higher hills, you'll see it is surrounded by ridges on all sides. However, this small church, built by an elderly woman who had dreamt of Jesus telling her to put up a chapel, is even more impressive than the "Holy Trinity" monastery (Cross Forest) itself.
