This village has it's name because seals used to live in the rocks and caves along the coast around. Unfortunately seal was seen and photografed in Bulgaria last in 1992. But still there is a hope that some of them hide in the rocks wich take about 50 km from the coast from Cape Shabla to Cape Kaliakra.
This place is favourite to people who like the sea but don't like crowded places. There are not many tourists here even in summer because there is no beach. Only this little little harbour take place here hided in the rocks.
