In February 2001 I went to Bulgaria for a week of ski touring in the Rila and Pirin mountains. We also took the opportunity to visit Sofia and the famous Rila Monastery (perhaps more photos on TL someday...)

This picture was taken on the second day of our trip in the mountains at about 1800m on our way to the Seven Lakes Cabin. The early morning fog was just starting to lift when we came accross this signpost giving directions.

The blueish color is from origin (probably due to the use of Kodachrome). I just scanned the image and slightly modified the contrast.

well in my opinion the bluich colour here is absolutely great , i love it infact. and youve used such a slow film too, so it may be because of that as well.

very nice picture. well composed and nicely colored. if the the signpost is supposed to play more-than-only-a-shape role it is too dark. I tried to change it in my WS. I hope you like it

Interesting signpost, named "Зла Бара" - Evil Streamlet. And you have managed, maybe unintentionally (I don't know if you speak Bulgarian), to represent the name in an convinient way - yes, the atmosphere is dark, cold, foggy...There is something evel lurking somewhere in the forest...
