[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
This is the view towards Pula and Brijuni islands from the southernmost observatory cupola of "Monte Forno" coastal fort, situated near Barbariga. One of dozens of forts and batteries that made Pula (Pola) one of the most heavily fortified towns in the times before WW1, it still has many of it's steel elements, which is something that is not very often encountered when speaking about Austro-Hungarian forts.
Part of the fort was blown up in 1945, but the remaining part is well worth exploring...
Cropped, somewhat additionally saturated and filtered with Neat Image.

Vlad,
Nice photo! Your composition is very good with the placement of the battery in the corner and showing its view. The lighting and colors are great with nice sharpness and DOF. The rusted steel provides nice contrast to the warm colors of the rest of the photo.
TFS,
Asa
