Photographer's Note

Plitvice Lakes is a group of sixteen small lakes - Proscansko Jezero, Labudanovac Lake , Ciganovac Lake , Galovac Lake, Kozjak Lake... - mutually conected with numerous large and smaller waterfalls. Plitvice waterfalls are created by deposition of travertine -a kind of limestone that created this unique and attractive wonder of nature.

You found an excellent high viewpoint to present us these wonderful lakes ranging in colour from green to blue.
Their setting is beautiful surrounded by the grey cliffs.
You framed the picture well with the wooden paths on the water.

fantastic colors from Croatia, this country is a real gem! Great high point of view here and very good sharpness, I can almost see every single blade of the weed in the water:) The little figures bring out the scale of the place, wish I were one of them:)
