Photographer’s Note
The roofs of buildings in Prague's Lesser Quarter as seen from Prague Castle.
The Lesser Quarter (also referred to as the Lesser Town, and in Czech Malá Strana ("the Little Side")) is a district in the historical centre of Prague, below Prague Castle, on the left bank of the River Vltava. It is one of the oldest parts of Prague, and perhaps also the most picturesque. It is connected to the other historical "towns" (the Old Town, the New Town, and the Jewish District) on the other side of the river by Charles Bridge. Formerly, these "towns" were independent municipalities. Now they all form the borough of Prague 1 - the historical centre of Prague (only the New Town straddles the boroughs of Prague 1 and 2).

ciao Dagmar,
bello il close-up su questi tetti con colori vivi e un ottima luce.
Avrei un po' decentrato l'inquadratura per porre lateralmente il comignolo.
un saluto

Hello Dasha!
Beautiful architectonic "detail", great POV, excellent "tight" framing and composition to create an interesting graphical result! Good light management and beautiful red tones on the roofs!

The look to the waters or to the roofs are always amusing and emotional. Such is your choice in Prague, dear Dasha. Warm regards,

Hi Dasha, rooftops always make such a compelling composition. And the rooftops of characteristic Prague make the best, as they do here. I particularly like how you've managed the strong light and cropped the image. Thanks for sharing and have a good week, Lisa.
