Hello Jan,
Very appealing winter shot along the Charles Bridge nicely rendered in black and white. The repeating motif of the street lamps are very effective in leading the eye into the picture. Pity the image isn't bigger :-(

Excellent composition. I really like the B&W tones in this photo. The lighting is really good with the streetlights glowing so beautifully. The snow is an interesting touch, and helps make this a great photo. Welcome to Trekearth. I hope to see more beautiful photos from you in the future.

You knew to emphasize the environment of this city. The bridge is superbly photographed and the city with the background is very present!

One of the several things I wish to do before I grow old (....) is to visit Prague at christmas time. Maybe it's too cold for me, buth this pays for everyhting.

Stunning picture, Jan. Your placement of the lit lamps along the bridge leads one to the beautiful buildings that dominate the background. It is a very atmospheric scene and one can feel the cold on one's cheeks and hear the crunch of the snow. Great first shot. Regards, Irmgard

Very beautiful view to Karluv most covered with snow and completely different experience of Prague than my own a month ago.
It is incredible to see this place with so few people, which gives an opportunity to see all the interesting details, hidden otherwise.

No vida, už to jde! Zapomněl jsem na denní limity kritik. Tahle fotka si body fakt zaslouží. Kvůli ní snad začnu brzy ráno vstávat.. :-)
