This winter aconite just peaked through on the first day in February. It is one of the first signs of spring coming in Denmark, and often it strikes well before winter is done.

Intersesting composition in the snow.

this is what I most like when I am visiting Fyn in February: the sight of these lovely flowers in the gardens of the country side! You have really captured a small botanic power station! TFS!

Hallo Jan!
Harriet ("Kielia") told me that you also have posted a picture of these flowers - these small heros, as I did today. "Yours" were 3 weeks earlier than here in the low mountain range. I like how you present them in front of the blurred snow - in perfect sharpness. Their "power" is a real incredible phenomenon - and your photo shows this in an impressive way.
