Photographer’s Note
This is a picture from Ærøskøbing on the island of Ærø. The whole island is a wonderland of old architecture, but the heart of it is in Ærøskøbing where one can easily pretend that one has been transported back in time at least 150 years. The red house here in the foreground is the oldest in town and, if I remember correctly, was built in 1640 something. It is still privately owned and maintained.

Hello Kate.
I like this shot because it's simple but colorful, well composed, with a great depth and with some well-placed human figures.
Well done.
Best regards.
Bobo.

It's a wonderful shot - very well composed. I like how the road leads inside the frame.
Best wishes,

Hi Kate
Nice heritage street with attractive and colorfull houses, I'd reduce the size left to the first grey one to focus more on the following ones
Have a nice day JY

Hello Kate,
interesting perspective... lovely houses! but it is a pity the sky is white :( Anyway we can't "order" or change weather according to our wishes! :) So be it...
The old houses look picturesque and enliven the street. I also thought about possible cropping the bottom... but came to the conclusion that it's better as it is...
Warm regards,
Elena
