DE FØRSTE KÆRESTER PÅ MÅNEN
The first lovers on the moon

Og jeg der var så ung
jeg troede vi skulle være
de første kærester på månen
Men vores himmelrum
var lige nu og her
så vi holdt bare verden gående

Jeg troede vi skulle være
de første kærester på månen

Og jeg der var så klog
jeg troede fuldt og fast
at vi kunne gå på vandet
Men vores drejebog
blev skrevet i al hast
det ene ord tog det andet

Jeg troede vi skulle være
de første kærester på månen

Solen drejer os tilbage
til dér hvor alting starter om igen

Nu er vi landet her
vi har hvad vi skal ha
og vi er stadig stående
Lige meget hvad der sker
på sidste skoledag
blir vi de første kærester på månen

Lyrics: Steffen Brandt

Last night I visited a pop/rock concert of the Danish group TV-2, one of the most popular groups in Danmark and my personal favourite too.
This concert gave me some new challenges to take pictures and of course to introduce you into Danish music.

TV-2 is Steffen Brandt (vocals, keyboards, guitar), Hans Erik Lerchenfeld (guitar), Georg Olesen (bass) and Sven Gaul (drums). They call themselves for fun Danmarks kedeligste orkester (Danmark's most boring orchestra), but also Verdens lykkeligste band (The happiest band in the world).

TV-2 was formed in the winter of 1980-81 in Århus and their first album came in 1981 and was called Fantastiske Toyota (Fantastic Toyota). Their most recent album is called De første kærester på månen (The first lovers on the moon) from 2005, also the name of their most recent hit. In the 25 years of their existence they've made almost 20 albums.

On their website they describe themself as following:
"Starting out in the early eighties playing the minimalist new rock of that time the band TV-2 developed into a unique brand in Danish rock. Their music has its roots in rock with a style that is simple but sharp, and with lyrics that have gotten more and more complex over the years. Still, listening to the songs you will discover a playful and yet disciplined ambiguity, which has changed into a more raw kind of sensitivity lately. TV-2 has maintained a high level of quality, and albums like "Rigtige mænd" (Real Men), "Vi bli'r alligevel aldrig voksne" (We'll Never Grow Up Anyway) and "Nærmest lykkelig" (Almost Happy) have been an important addition to Danish rock with songs that reflect the times we live in."

In this photo you can see Sven Gaul, Steffen Brandt and Georg Olesen and in the background The Aarhus Horns. And if I'm not mistaken, they are here performing the song Der går min klasselærer (There goes my teacher)

I hope you like this little new experiment!
