Photographer's Note
The guy has just left cafe Bang & Jensen and is darting across the street with his bike. In a split second he jumps on the bike and disappears down Istedgade. This is about the feeling of being in the street right here on Vesterbro.
This photo is taken eight frames and 2 min 42 sec after this, I was in the mood that day, everything looked like a photo. I increased saturation a little especially in the yellow channel, applied unsharp mask and cropped to balance two areas of color around a lot of diagonals in the center.

yes, you were in the mood that day. the previous one and this one are pretty fine compositions.
i just ask myself what made you crop above his head (above? you almost chopped his head off!)...
good to see it without grains, although i think it would be fantastic with a discrete touch of it. but the blur brings your personality here.
good to see you back.

I like this cropping. It surely brings interest, and you minimalize the man in the frame, but create contrasts with diagonals and motionblur!
It works for me!

I like it, I like the crop too, gives it a sense of speed and enough width to show the traffic around.
I would love to see more motion blur though, but I'm not sure you have time for a slower shuttle before he leaves you take a pic of his dust trail :P

Very nice Torben. The red and the yellow is striking. After reading the conversation between you and Isabelle i also understand the cropping you did. Nice, also without grains :)

There are so many pictures of yours I like that I don't know how to find time to make a comment on each of them. So I choose this one at random and I have to say that I like very much the way you changed a perfectly ordinary scene of life in a very special moment ... maybe the way you cut the scene in the upper and lower parts, maybe the mixing of colours, maybe the lack of sharpness of the guy on the bike in the middle of the traffic that is precisely sharp. That gives the impression that only the guy is moving ... Maybe everything ... Anyway, I like this picture very much.
