[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
Rundetaarn (The Round Tower), Copenhagen, was built on the initiative of King Christian IV (1588-1648). The foundation stone was laid on 7 July 1637 and completed in 1642. The tower was the first stage of the Trinitatis complex, which was to gather three important facilities for the scholars of the seventeenth century: an astronomical observatory, a student church and a university library.

The spiral walk is unique in European architecture. The 209 m long spiral ramp winds itself 7,5 times round the hollow core of the tower, forming the only connection between the individual parts of the building complex.

Excellent adequation between the play with the curves, the light even the rare colours.

A really great job!

Hi JP, the beauty of the photo in the simplicity and lighting, especially the POV and the wide angle choice that presented the old flooring, the walls details and full arches. very well seen mate.
Sam.

Hi JP,
Good choice of POV here and a beautiful result concerning management of light. The thickness of the walls is astonishing!
Thanks for sharing,
