BUt an amazing sight, and well worth a post, in fact, a pretty good compo too, and the cloud of them as come out so clearly. I've certainly never seen anything quite that extreme, very TE worthy.

Jeppe,
Amazing amount of mosquitoes, to let themselves be caught on a picture. Looks as heavy rain fall.
Regards,
MvS

Interesting shot and comment. I would not want to be in the middle of that.
Non stinging mosquitos? you are very lucky there, Jeppe. Our mosquitos are quite different, and I'm so happy that they don't come in millions..
A good documentary shot.

I can remember that I’ve seen much more mosquito’s, but I have no prove (pictures) of that event. It was, of course in Finland (Pallastunturi, Lapland). The day we arrive the air was grey with mosquito’s, like in the middle of your picture, but on a much larger area. We had to run to the hotel. The next day we made trip in the neighbourhood ( to find Santa Claus) and we didn’t see one mosquito that day.
Sometimes pictures are good for the composition or the colours, but sometimes the are good by the memories the bring.

Nej, hvor mange myg... jeg er meget glad at jeg ikke er i midten af alle de irriterende lille dyr. Men flot billede af dem!

WoW! Those are mosquitoes? Well, it's good they're disciplined and don't sting humans -that''s a little weird! Very interesting shot and notes, Jeppe! rgds.

The problem here is surely derivated fromm the last posts about "Cows". They attract the "Mosquitos" by million!!!
Amazing and interesting shot with a very good quality capture.
Well done and my congratulations!

C'est un rare évènement de voir des millions de moustiques dans un pays nordique.
La composition du nuage est très intéressante et c'est une très bonne capture sur le vif.
It is a rare event to see million mosquitos in a Scandinavian country. The composition of the cloud is very interesting and it is a very good capture.

Hi Jeppe
Just a minute while I go to get some insect repellant. Ah... that's better! This looks like something out of a science fiction or horror movie. Superb sharpness, & good color, lighting & saturation.
