Photographer’s Note
....Back in Karrebaeksminde after my walk......
In the far distance you may see a glimpse of Naestved , situated at the end of Karrebaek fjord .
In Karrebaek fjord is another island : Gavnoe which is owned by Baron Otto Reedtz Thott .
I will take you there next week , but first I must find a place here in Karrebaeksminde to have lunch after my walk along the coast of Enoe :o)
Have a nice weekend !
Dorte.

Good morning Dorte!
What a calm and peaceful place here ... and only one car ;-)
You managed the really difficult light conditions very well. Perhaps you should include a bit more of the foreground to diminish a bit the water area. Nevertheless - a place to get calm and have a good lunch!
Greetings from warm and still sunny Westphalia!

Hi Dorte
Lovely blue waters and leading lines. This is a lovely place ... nice to take a stroll or do some jogging and of course for lunch. I just hope this place does not get affected with the expected rise in sea level. Very good composition ... tfs.
Cheers,
Renier

Hello Dorte,
The strong diagonal structure, and the deep blues of the water and sky makes this a compelling image. The succinct but informative note is also appreciated.
Regarding your remark about my photo of Mt. Vesuvius, the soil from the lava/magma of volcanos is very rich in the minerals and vegetation flourishes in such soil. The Hawaiian Islands represent a good case in point. The lush vegetation there is utterly overwhelming.
I have a question for you. Do you happen to know where the Island of Hven is located. It was the site of Tycho Brahe's observatory four-hundred years ago.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Hi there Dorte. A luminous image this one. I love the deep blue of the water and the perspective effect of looking along the diminishing row of houses. The sharpness is very good. I hope you had a nice lunch yesterday in your lovely spring weather.
Regards,
Andrew

Hi Dorte,
This is an exceptionally beautiful image. The colours in the glorious building are superb as is the colour of the water. I like that you have included the posts in the water, they add interest to the image.
Cheers,
Debbie

Always fun to see photos of places one have been to - to see what you saw as compared to what I saw hehe...
Good use of the canal and the houses along the bank there Dorte. Should you like to see another version try this (don not forget to open the large version..):
