[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
In Denmark today, it has become almost fashionable to spoil one's children. Children have well choreographed schedules of activities and play dates, and often family life centers on the child's whims and fancies. As I a teacher of teenagers, I get to deal with kids who have no idea what to do when the world doesn't cater specifically to them.

Here is my bit a rebellion from that lifestyle. Here is a little girl going for a walk in her stroller and having a wonderful time enjoying what her parents enjoy (and not vice versa.) While her parents enjoy the surroundings of Femø, she's discovered one of the pleasures of life - blowing on dandelions just to see the seeds float away.

Kate, you've captured a moment in time! lovely. The photo is blurred because, (I think), of a slow shutter speed. I have done a workshop on this photo I hope you don't mind - thanks for sharing it :)

I think many western children rule at home. I am a retired teacher and know exactly what you mean. Children today have no understanding of the word "NO"
This is a charming image of a child enjoying a simple pleasure. Although it is a little blurred you have captured the image at the perfect moment. Well done
Kath

Hi Kate,
Wonderdul portrait of this beaut child that you captured very well her expressions while to keep the dandelions in her hands. Your note is important and informative. Good POV, colors and contrasts. Regards from Brazil. Consuelo
PS.: When you want to take a portrait with background unfocus, you should select the mode close up in functions of your camera.

Hi Kate,
the subject and POV is excellent.
Good idea and perfect timing.
I'm sorry that it has obtained little voting. Perhaps the lack of clearness caused from the time of exposure (1/30 without tripod) has produced a not clear photo.

Hi Kate:

Sooooo cute! You captured the moment when the kid found the right thing to do to the flower.
