The Danish Lake District is a very popular outdoor-activity in Danmark.
Excellent place for canoeing, if you are in Silkeborg, a friendly and modern town.
The surroundings forests and waterways are really nice. While I was walking along the centre, I loved this part of the city, with the boats, houses, trees and the ducks ..... I missed the blue sky !

Hi Roser,
you have chosen a nice POV for this impression of one of the most beautiful places of the Danish lakeside. I also like the moody colors and the quiet atmosphere of the winter. The sky is a problem, maybe you can crop it til the tree-tops? A blue sky with white clouds would have been wonderful indeed. But it is a pleasant view anyway. TFS!
