Photographer’s Note

Tomorow it is my birthday, I have get a birthday present in advance, and you are looking at it.

Simply a wonderful morning, I have not been to bed, so I waitet to se what the day would bring at sunrise. I toke the car and drive to Stuer, here is the result.
It was so get weather, that I took picture of dif. nature. Then I came home and loded picture, I have tanken 180 photos. The titel, the sun gives me Energy.

Superbe composition. Le lever de soleil est magnifique. Tout est calme et cette jetée conduit le regard tout au bout de l'horizon.
Joyeux anniversaire et merci pour le partage. Celà valait la peine de ne pas se coucher.

Hi kaj,

what a wonderful sunrise. Your picture is truly excellent. The colours, sharpness, PoV and DoF are very well combined. The horizon is also magnificently positioned in the middle.

on the horizon and the dark silhouetted boat, wonderful colors
in the sky and reflecting on the calm water.

Happy Birthday Kaj and congratuations on a great sunrise.

Your commposition works well (even though the horizon is in the middle). The lighting and exposure are superb.

I think it needs to be a little sharper in the foreground, but that just may be the effects of reducing the image for TE - your original may well be perfect.

Great sunlight Kaj. I haven't seen a picture of you for a long time now and it's refreshing :) The dark lines opposed to the sunlight powerful contrasts and colors are just great and give a lot of meaning to the picture.
