21st June’09. Was feeling a bit tense before I boarded the flight from Dubai to San Francisco as I didn’t have any earlier experience of such a long journey by air. The very thought of a non-stop 16hr journey was giving me cold feet!. The flight took... off at 8am from Dubai. Luckily I had a window seat. The first thing I did was to check the route-map. The journey became less boring as soon as I saw the route – West Asia, East Europe, Greenland, Canada and finally to US. Greenland…I never ever imagined that I would get to see this magical region of Earth in my life. After six hours when I got the first glimpse of the snow-covered land, I literally got goose bumps! For next four hours I kept my eyes wide open to grasp as much as I could……
