Photographer's Note
It was a typical pale, misty and cold December day in Roskilde so the square was naturally quite empty. Tried to take some pics as the pale light was pretty intresteng. However, the scene was a little boring w/o a motive proper. So I was glad when this guy finally came along for a low-angle snapshot. Actually I would have liked an even lower angle, but I thinks it works OK.
PS work: Levels, curves and that's it.

there's something so strange and eerie about this pic! i like how that man's head is down, like he's avoiding you. the soft lighting works really well here without being overexposed. so many great elements in this pic - the trees/buildings hidden in the fog, the tracks in the snow, the focal point of the path off to the side. reminds me of this artwork (from some CDs):

i think you ve done a wonderfull composition with nicely picked little details!
it is actually a story telling foto that urge to look closer for the little details.... the white-bluish snow, the misty background, the fleeting figure....
great work !

Great picture! It's good there is a man on it, but I think it wouldn't have been boring without him, cause also the trees on the right and the artwork (?) next to the lamppost look interesting, so: very well done!

What is really interesting for me is the fact that the sun appears to be coming out of the street lamp. i had to look at the picture again, is this late night or midday? Did you do that on purpose?
Well done in waiting for the guy to walk by, it really adds to the composition.
As for low/high angle, the high angle gives more dynamic, the low would have been more dramatic. I think this one is best!

Hi Mikke
From looking at your portofolio I can tell that you like to take photos in the mist. Me too.
From all of your photo I seen on TE this one appeals most to me. Well composed, with good atmosphere this picture has its own life and story.
Good job

Good capture of the atmosphere. Misty, cold, blue and dark. Regarding composition, I would crop some from the sky.

WOWWWW!!
I particularly liked the lamp and the misty mysterious frame and the subject. it would have been a classic if the walking subject was captured directly under the lamp post. however this is a beauiful shot
