Fuglevad Vindmølle

This picture was taken over half a year ago at Frilandsmuseet, an open-air museum in one of the suburbs of Copenhagen, Lyngby.

Fuglevad Vindmølle (Fuglevad Windmill) is a so-called Dutch mill. This type of mill was introduced in Danmark in the 18th century from The Netherlands. A Dutch example of such a mill can be found here: Molen de Zandhaas.
The mill was built in 1832 by a wealthy miller from Lyngby. It is still located on its original place and therefore the only building at the museum that wasn't moved to the museum area.

I hope you like this picture!
