Fishing stakes along the coasts in Denmark shows that this practising is still alive. Besides they give rest to many birds and they are distinctive marks to passers-by.

Hej Jan,
great light and a crystal clear sea. Your composition reminds me of so many wonderful holidays on the most beautiful island in the world! We went so many times from Vejlby Fed along the coast to Baaring Vig. So this is really a very nostalgic photo for me.

Hi Jan,
Very nice shot of these fishing stakes and nets. It is an interesting composition, and the soft light is very pleasing. The rippled reflections of the posts and the cormorants sunning themselves is nice to see. I don't suppose you happen to know what fish (or crustaceans/molluscs) are caught in these nets?
