Inside Saint Olav's Church in the small town of Kirkjubøur, about 15 minutes southwest of Tórshavn. This is the oldest still used church in Føroyar, dating from back in the 12th century.
Sverre I Sigurdsson, King of Norway (1151-1202), who was born and raised in Kirkjubøur, once prayed in this very hall before being taken to his seat in Norway. |

Excellent choice of B&W to bring out the shadows in this photo. I love old churches, and I think you've captured the fact that this church is both old and still in use. Very good framing.
