Harriet, this is cozy for sure, and from the look of the hulls it seems the sea here is much more severe than around Kennebunk or maybe these boats of yours will spend time out in it while those here will not. In any case this is a fine shot of a fleet that looks like it earns it's keep.

Hi Harriet,
The reflections really make this photo. The repetion of the masts is also a major part of the picture. I´ve seen it in many harbours in Sweden and I always try to estimate the value in all these boats. Must be millions of euros... A fine photo anyway!

Hello Harriet,
A fine composition of this marina shot. The boats in the Fg looks quite different and interesting from the usual yacht we see elsewhere. They look more like fishing boat than leisure yacht. Good to have a little more FG water to allow a full view of the reflection.

Hi Harriet.
An array of masts like this one is always appealing to me. You composed this beautifully - there is just the right amount of water in the foreground and a judicious amount of sky above the masts, which often come too close to the top of the photo in this type of shot. The blue boat looks delightful and the slightly shimmering reflections are very attractive. The exposure is good too - not too much contrast and a nice light. I enjoyed reading your note about this place, too. All in all, a really good photo.

Great clarity in colours, and on a lucky day you can probably buy fresh shrimps as they are returning to the harbour...

I like very much your composition: the sky and the water for me are paintings while the center with boats is a photo. I don't know well how to explain: it is a relationship between the vagueness and the sharpness, what what moves and what is stable. But in any cases it is very successful!

Für mich ein ungewöhnlicher aber schöner Anblck! Bei diesem "glatten" Wasser ginge ich wahrscheinlich auch an Bord ;-) Eine wirklich schöne Szenerie in tollem Licht. Mir gefallen auch die nicht "aufgedrehten" Farben!
