| Tallin’s medevial Old Town is one of the most-well preserved in Europe. The the building with the wi´hite rowe is Town hall. The Town hall was first mentioned in 1322 and is one of the most famous symbols of Tallin. The Old Town of Tallinn has been on UNESCO’s World Heritage list since 1997. When this picture was taken Estonia was still a part of the Sovjet Union. |

I like this window open. I think you could have played with this element of your composition to give more power, dynamism to the shot. I also find the colours quite faded and I see a bit of noise. And the sky is not at its best...
Nevertheless, I find interesting your point of view on the roofs of what seems to be a beautiful town. Try to see which elements can be improved then you will get nice results.
Regards, David
Hi Ulf,
It's nice to see how Tallinn looked like almost 15 years ago. I had already forgotten. Today it looks a lot more colorful and neat.
I would critique a bit the quality, your photo has traces of quite big compression. The size of your photo is only about 119 KB. I would recommend scanning the photo with higher quality and then uploading it here as close to 200KB as possible.
Also - if you look, there was already city called Tallinn (double-N) in Harjumaa state, where rest of the Tallinn photos are located. It would be nice if you moved yours there as well.
best regards,
Lennart
Nice capture of those sharp peaked roofs. I remember this POV from our visit there, it was back toward the back of the ancient wall around the town, right?
Thanks for sharing!
