| This was the only picture I got to make of the little guy before it flew away. It's not perhaps as good as it could be and not as close as it could be but I like the whole composition of it. |

The bee is right in the center. Perhaps cropping so that the bee is more to the lower right would make it more interesting... Nice colors

Not a bad effort at all - I've been thinking of the D70s - and also looking at the D50. This picture has me thinking that the Digital SLR is the way to go. I think the depth of field is a bit narrow and the photo might be overexposed - but there's good detail in the bee, nice detail in the flowers and I really like the overall composition.
