[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
The weather is not improving for the remaining pictures of Taillinn. There are lots of towers there:
- church's towers,
- towers being part of the walls or just near them (like the one already posted),
- towers which were part of walls now disappeared (like this one here)
- or fortified doors like the one in workshop.

According to the city map I brought back from my 2005 voyage, there are 2 km of walls with 26 defence towers remaining, compared with the original city which has 4 km of walls with 46 towers. So more than 50% of the original defenses still exist, which is a rather good ratio.

Hi Emmanuel,
Good shoot from a corner to show old local architecture and the silent street, nice color in a cloudy day, thanks for sharing.
Ally

Hello Emmanuel,
This former fortress construction contrasts well with the TV antennas, and the house looks quite old as well!
Fine lines in the composition, sharp fine details!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Hej Emmanuel,
It's great to hear that there are so many parts of the old defence works left in Tallinn. A good capture of this tower with a good vertical composition. The inclusion of the wall on the left hand side is good too. Well done!
Regards,
Lars

Bonjour Emmanuel
Interesting picture & a perfect accompanying note. Use of perspective with the road is well done. We can see almost each & every stone on the tower. The red tiles contrast well with the grey sky. Well done!
Best Regards
Angshu
