This ones is not very good, just to start the serie corresponding to the departure form Tallinn, and to remember that American guy who was on board for the voyage but whose name I have forgotten long ago. He was on harbour watch he day before the departure. If you have seen the note to the previous picture, I told you there was a lot of coal dust on the pier where we were moored. As a consequence, his main occupation was to clean the shoes of those going back on board...
As a addition to this one, another traditional activity before leaving: signing the customs manifesto... This was an opportunity to take a picture of some of the other trainees, a few of them being rather old (more than 65 at the time) like the old lady standing in workshop 1.

Bonjour l'homme au pied marin,
constante dans tes photos, la mise au point toujours précise.
Et ici on peu le voir grâce à la netteté de tous ces câbles et cordages.
Une photo qui une fois de plus montre la complexité de ces réalisations.

c'est bien net, pas very good, just a start, mais j'aime bien l'idée de prendre une photo à chaque étape :)

I fiel the wind in my hair when I look to this image.
Splendid composition with the rescue boats and the man those look to the camera.
