View of Tallinn old city from a ladder going to Toompea hill.

Tallinn is one of most beautiful cities I know. It has one of largest remained medieval city centers in Europe.

This picture is really over-contrasted because is was taken in evening twilight of very gloomy January day.

UPDATE.
Having seen other pictures of Tallinn on TE, I saw many shots taken from the same place..

hello Igor,
I don't mind exaggerated contrasts and saturation, I actually quite like how it emphasise both the brown red roofs and thick haze and fog covering the city, that's somethings we're quite used to :) I agree with Sergei that the ugly chimney is out of place, but even with it the photo is great, I like a lot how the height of the towers gradually increase from left to right and culminate in that majesctic spire. very nice work, my compliments.

The variety of colours in the rooftops is very appealing especially with the melting snow and I like how the spires are almost stacked in a row. TFS, Marlene
