No, this is not a provocation in international relations! :)

Just a view from fortress of Ivangorod, no politics here..

The fortress of Ivangorod and the castle of Narva are staying at two opposite banks of river Narova, but the first belongs to Russia and the second belongs to Estonia.

And between them is some kind of "iron curtain", because some very stupid politicians initiated a visa regime between our countries (and by the way, with the whole EU too). It means that Russian citizens have to get a visa in an Estonian consulate to go to Narva, and the same for Estonian citizens who want to go to Ivangorod.

I placed this picture to Estonia because there is more Narva than Ivangorod here.

A situation described well and photographed well. The fortresses are austere as well as the colors, fortunately the Russian flag brings the colors sharp which is appropriate. Good work, interesting.

Действительно. А я то уж подумал...Серо как-то, а флаг яркий, класс!Не умею фотошопом так делать, чтоб один элемент цветным был только.Как в броненосце Потёмкине, флаг расскрасили на каждом кадре
