Photographer’s Note
Catching zander (kuha in Finnish) on the lake Höytiäinen. Zander is closely allied to perch. The zander is a common and popular game fish for anglers in Europe. Typical size is 0.2 - 1.5 kg although they may reach over 10 kg.
Fast shutter speed is essential for action shots like this. The one that got away was of course much bigger :)

Hi Kari, ahhh the one that got away, eh? :) You'll have to tell us all about that in a separate WS :) Great action shot/ Decisive Moment. The spray of water from the fish in the net really brings the shot to life. You must have some great reflexes there, excellent management of the shutter speed. TFS and enjoy your week, Lisa.
