Photographer’s Note

Underwater world as seen through ice. Ice was about 4cm thick - barely enough just to carry a man with a tripod and camera. Tiny white dots on ice are snow.
When I was a kid it was fun to go skating on new ice and try to see waterplants, fishes, wrecks and treasures in another world. Well...mostly we saw only rusty bicycles, tyres, boots, bottles, cans and other trash like that.
