Photographer’s Note

One day went to see my grandparent´s old home. An old very typical Finnish small wooden house. Nobody has lived there for over half a century and the place has functioned only as a summer place for us since then. I never saw my grandparents alive myself, but somehow I have grown attached to this pittoresque and a bit mystical old building under big trees.

It is beautiful winter shot. Snow hats covered trees create unusual frame for your old house. Very good composition.

Hello Pekka,
This is also a fine picture where the little cottage is nicely surrounded by the trees. The thick snow reminds me of the winters of my childhood in the Swedish forests.
