Old pier in morning mist. This pier was originally build for local people so that they could wash their carpets there in summertime. Lately it has been mostly used for fishing, swimming and drinking beer on summer evenings.

Great capture, I love the mist in the background which really plays the mood of the photo. The soft light and exposure are also a plus.

There is a feeling of loneliness and neglect with this photo. I especially like the detail of the ladder placed across the part of the pier where water has taken over.
