Photographer’s Note

There are mornings when the sky is slightly overcast and the light is especially suitable for photographying. Murphy´s law: usually that happens on weekdays when one has to hurry work instead of wandering around by lakes and sea with camera.
But now it was Saturday and this was one of those special mornings and - as usually -the light was spectacularly good only for some couple hours but that was enough.
This is shot at southern part of Lake Saimaa. The first snow had fallen previous night and thin ice had formed on the surface of lake. No wind, no sound, no movement - a moment of blue light.
