Photographer’s Note

Suokumaanjoki (Suokumaa river) revisited. Grey, windless and quite warm November day. Temperature suitably just enough below zero that snow does not start to melt. Silence was almost complete except some ravens´ cries and occasional distant gunfire somewhere - elk-hunting season was still going. Me - I was hunting too but for landscapes.

Hi Pekka, its a pity we can only appreciate this beautiful photo in this small foramt. i would love to see it in a bigger page, maybe at 10" size. Thanks for sharing...Alex

a very melancolic scene, but really well composed, and with very nice colours, almost monochromatics.
