Blue train to Turku Photo

Photographer’s Note

Fast train from Pieksämäki to Turku approaching Tampere at Järvensivu. Engine belongs to class Sr1. Most of these were built in Soviet Union between 1973 and 1985. Blue wagons are from the same era and except the locomotive colours, similar trains have run on Finnish railways since 1970's.

Kari,
Nicely composed shot of this fast moving train. The rails and curving train gives the scene nice depth and a good sense of direction. The lighting and colors are great and the photo has nice sharpness.

Hello Kari,

The point of view works well!
A fine dynamic curve is capturing my eyes, the red front is well placed in the frame and stands out...
Good repetition effect in the windows, a balanced composition with good depth!
