Hi Kari, the sepia was an excellent choice for this timeless old locomotive. The tight cropping is excellent, as is your DOF and managing to shoot the engineer half outside his train was a combination of luck and quick shooting. Nice work, TFS, Lisa.

Hi Kari,
A great shot. The choice of sepia is the right one and makes this picture a real oldie.
Good job,

Hi Kari,
My passion for boats is more than matched by your passion for trains.
This little engine is fantastic, I love the square lines of the boiler, the funnel is brilliant in shape and design, and she has an air of real purpose about her.
Lovely work.

Peter

Hi Kari!!
You are right!! This sepia mode fits really well to the train and your idea to give an ancient taste, vintage and oldie!!
Good realization...Thanks!!
Have a nice day...

Hei Kari,
A nostalgic photo! The sepia tone makes this a real oldie and the engineer standing in the door opening is a nice detail. Good tight composition.

Quite a lovely photo and a masterful composition. The sepia toning fits wonderfully with this old train and its driver and even the two small houses behind add a touch of antiquity.
When I was a child I used to play with electric train models (I suppose you too?) and I had a locomotive very similar to this one. An excellent composition and an expressive photo.
Best regards,
Donato
