Celebrating spring
 |
|
| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
1st of May is is one of those days when Keskustori (Central Square) of Tampere fills up of people and market booths. May Day is actually the only city carneval type holiday in Finland. In New Years Eve it's too cold and dark, and in Midsummer everybody is at countryside and streets are deserted.

Hallo Kari!
A colourful picture full of activities - surrounded by a beautiful architecture, great!
I like this one!
Greetings from sunny Germany!

Hello Kari.
An amazing daily finnish life view.
It's a shot really full of life, well composed. It's a pity that the lamp in the center vanishes a little bit against the building's facade.
Best regards.
Bobo.

hi Kari
Very interesting to show us your part of the tradition on May day and the market full of people, sign of spring? It is also interesting to note how people converge on markets all over the world for food and daily needs.
