Jyrängönkoski

| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
Jyrängönkoski rapid on the Kymijoki river. Kymijoki opens up to lakes on many places like lake Ruotsalainen in the background. Railway bridge across the rapid was build in 1932 when the branch line to Heinola was opened.
It's almost a crime to show a raiway bridge without a train, but this time catching one would have meant waiting of four hours. |

Hello Kari!
Someday I want to visit Finland... while this doesn't happen I keep on enjoying some of your nice pictures from there!
Here I like the POV, with the two bridges, the boat and the vegetation around!
TFS - Congratulations!
Greetings from Brazil,

Hi Kari,
Very clear crisp colors to this lovely river landscape.
The old rail bridge is very well seen against the beautiful blue summer sky.
Looks like a wonderful river to spend a lazy summer afternoon.
Regards, Tom

Hi Kari,
It's almost a crime to show a railway bridge without a train, but you've got boats on the water. It could be worst :-)
Despite we don't see the whole bridges, it's an interesting composition, showing the bridges between one shore and... trees!
