Hei Kari,
You have caught the autumn colours wonderfully. They are crisp and natural. The foreground shadow and the light background has the effect of bringing the lighter, colourful background closer.

Kari,
a very beautiful landscape iamge. The main movement here is purely horizontal with the grass in the front, the trees in the background sandwiching the water and finally the clouds in the sky. Having this in mind I would have cropped the upper portion of the sky to underscore that horizontal feeling even more. BUT, the image is also extremely pleasant and attractive as it is.

Hi Kari,
the atmosphere of this composition is full of melancholy, it could be a perfect illustration for the last symphony of Jean Sibelius. The cold light is excellent!

Hello Kari! Reminds me a tiny bit of Schwaendisee above Unterwasser but just a little and with less clouds :)))) Some years went by since you took this photo and in Switzerland the trees are still green but I can see a little yellow here and there and in probably some days they start to turn stronger. Love the minimal colors, so much fall and even the sky seems paler than normal. A picture full of harmony, silent as fall when everything comes to a stop. I love this photo, I really do. The reflectipns in the water are assets to the composition. The point of view leads our eyes toward the trees in the background ehich is giving depth to the picture. The colors are enhanced by the quality of the light. have a nice day.
