Photographer’s Note

Cheverny Castle in the Loire Valley is the castle that inspired Tin-Tins creator Hergé when he drawed the castle of Moulinsart. The family who own the castle is very proud of this and in the castle shop they sell not only nice gobelins and other things inspired by the castle, but also Tin-Tin souvenirs. Although the castle is private, it is possible to look inside.

Nice shot, Monica. Great symmetry. I would like a little more contrast, though. (I did it using Microsoft's Photo Editor, and it looks better, but I can't post it because I've used up my daily allotment.)

Just like Mike, I would say that the composition is well built, the symmetry was a good choice.
I just would have liked more contrast, I'll try to send a WS...

Hello Monica,
This castle is beautiful and the angle of shooting is also good. I like the way you kept the background sky visible and the people walking in the scene.
